Children in Care and Care Experienced Adults provides long term care and support to children in the care of Newham focusing on achieving permanence and maintaining family links.  The Care Experienced Adults service supports and enables young adults who have been in the care of Newham to live independent lives with strong corporate parenting support.

Care Provision and Support Service provides alternative homes for children in care; Recruitment, assessment and support of carers including connected carers to achieve stability and permanence.   Responsibility for finding new homes for children through in house and independent providers, this service is key to delivering sufficient provision for children and care experienced adults.

These positions report to the Director of Operations; Children’s Social Care and Safeguarding. Details of the specific skills and experience required are set out in the role specification.
