We are implementing systemic practice into all our social care services we have structured the service into practice pods. The new structure has smaller social work pods led by Practice Leaders. This smaller span will enable better grip of case management, higher quality supervision and a stronger learning environment.
Overall Purpose of Job.
- To hold responsibility for a case load of statutory child care cases.
- To ensure that each child/young person on the caseload has an appropriate assessment and statutory plan that is relevant for their needs
- To contribute to improving the resilience and independence of Newham’s children, young people and their families

Practice Leaders receive accredited training in systemic supervision with the Institute of Family Therapy to ensure high quality supervision is delivered as standard.
